When I visited this restaurant for the first time, I felt like I could’ve been in any number of beach/waterfront towns across America.  It had the feel of the low country in the Carolinas, or the remote beaches on the coast of Rhode Island.  I could’ve been in the Savannah Georgia area, or even in the gulf coast areas of Flori-Bama (if you know – you know).  But I wasn’t in any of those… I was in a relatively quiet area along the Gulf Coast of Florida, somewhere around midway between Naples and Panama City.

Though I’ve described this area as quiet, its actually known worldwide as a tranquil vacation destination.  And that it is.  When you sit on the covered porch of this restaurant you will understand exactly what I mean by tranquil – that is unless one of the popular bands happens to be playing at the time.  If you come here for the music, you’ve come here for the right reason.  But then again, if you come here for the food and the views, you’re also in the right place.  Either way, it’s worth the visit.
